For the eighth May in a row, Wandsworth Arts Fringe (WAF) will be shaking up Tooting and South West London with an eclectic programme of arts and culture that will thrill and inspire audiences from across the city.
From 5th to 21st May, over 100 creatives will be performing in an array of venues throughout the borough – some indoor, some outdoor, and some truly unexpected, with many of these events happening right here in Tooting!
The festival is emphatically inclusive and welcomes participation from artists across all art forms, including street performance, exhibitions, comedy, theatre, music, dance and everything in between, enabling you to experience something truly different.
Here are just a few examples of what’s coming to Tooting:
The Sound Lounge are hosting Wes Barker, a Canadian magician / comedian who has featured on Penn & Teller, America’s Got Talent & The Comedy Network.
Graveney & Meadow are hosting two sizzling music acts with Fuzion Trio (who play unique arrangements of jazz standards, light classical pieces and Latin music) and The Treblemakers (a women’s a cappella group) ready to wow the audience.
Tooting Tram & Social will showcase Hoops and Loops, featuring London’s freshest circus talent, transforming the surroundings of into a dreamscape of visual delights.
