A group of pigeons are being used to test air pollution in London. No, really.
Yes, we checked to make sure it wasn’t April 1st too. Pigeon Air Patrol is a new scheme that has utilised pigeons to monitor air pollution in the capital. Pigeons have been fitted with tiny backpacks that carry pollution sensors and let loose across London.
So far, there’s no record of them visiting Tooting, but we’ve been in touch with Pigeon Air Patrol and hope to hear from them soon. In the meantime, you can find out more on their website and follow them on Twitter.
